The Baby Bull is Back. After setting up a network of successful businesses in his hometown of Houston the call to Boxing got its pickup when Juan Diaz announced his comeback earlier this year. He will be fighting Pipino Cuevas Jr. this Saturday, April 13, 2013 at the American Bank Center in Corpus Christi, Texas. It’s a warm up fight for Diaz as he plans on fighting 4 times this year. Cuevas is a hard puncher, but nothing more. He has lost 4 of his last 6 and 7 of his last 10. The only thing Cuevas has going for him is his in ring activity. He fought 3 times in 2012 with his last outing a KO defeat in November of 2012. Diaz on the other hand last fought in 2010, a wide points margin defeat to the Mexican Legend Juan Manuel Marquez. Diaz has also lost 4 of his last 6. Looking to rebound back to his glory days, the Former undisputed lightweight champion is going to gauge his performance against Cuevas to see how much farther he has to go in order to begin facing the elite in the weight. The Baby Bull is back.
